Feb 7th - Natasha Cribb gave an inspired talk on Body Building. We learnt a lot about the sport we didn’t previously know and we admire the hard work that goes into it. Feb 14th - We had an out-night going to Fiordland College to see inside the Life Education Bus that the Rotary Club of Fiordland Sponsor in our area. We really enjoyed the technical approach this resource provides to our school age students and it was fun to see some examples of what is taught. Feb 21st - This was our Club Forum evening and there will be a full report on this half yearly Strategic Plan Update next newsletter. Feb 28th Dr Sue People’s from Fiordland College spoke to us about the Zayed Sustainability Project, sponsored by the United Arab Emigrates. Fiordland College were one of three finalists from the Australian/Asian area to compete in this project, travelling to Abu Dhabi to do so. Congratulations go to their success and it was great to hear that they plan to compete again this year. |
