Gabrielle Schou has been organising the Queenstown Rotary club's 'Learn and Explore Adenture' trip to Fiordland. They have a great 5 or so days planned and would like to meet some of us! Friday 4th March 6:00pm to 6:50pm Doc Lecture: Jamie McAuly will speak on ‘Conservation Work in the National Park’. Venue: DOC Auditorium Te Anau - Department of Conservation 2. Friday 4th March Combined Dinner: 7:30pm Meet and greet the Fiordland Club at “The Fat Duck” combined Dinner. Venue: 124 Town Centre, Te Anau 3. Day 2 Saturday March 5th 8:30am to 9:20am Morning Talk and Interview: Kerri Anne of Fiordland Marine Guardians a collaborative group from the fishing industry, iwi, environmentalists and recreational fishers that manage the Fiordland fishery with Tim Wilshire (our professional podcaster). Venue: DOC Auditorium Te Anau - Department of Conservation 4. Saturday March 5th 4:30 pm Early evening BBQ with Fiordland Rotary Club: Meet opposite the Te Anau Lakeview Kiwi Holiday Park ground on the lake shore for a shared BBQ with Fiordland Rotary Club. The Queenstown Rotary Club would love to catch up with as many Fiordland members as possible at these events. Gabrielle has said that they have asked speakers Jamie and Kerri Anne to the Fat Duck so it will be a great chance to catch up and have a chat with them. So come members get on board and catch up with them and have a great time with them! They want to spend time with us and spend some money locally too!
