Past Speakers
March 21st We had an out night walking from DOC to the Bird Park. We were able to see the proposed site for the new BBQ / Shelter and Cycle Trail Information Board. Plus we were able to appreciate the view and beginning of the track, finishing at the Bird Park. The work we have helped do there the past two years is a credit to the club and those involved.

March 28thOne of our new members Sandra Macnamara gave her ‘Job Talk”. We heard some interesting information from Sandra about her life to date which gave us an opportunity to know her better and appreciate her background.
Well done Sandra – we always really find it interesting learning about our members ‘past life’!

April 4th - We had Jo Marsh from “Fiordland Families”. Jo presented a really interesting account of what Fiordland Families is trying to achieve in our community and the need they were trying to fill.
They have asked our club for funds to help set up the advertising of their body and help pay for their initial newsletters to the local community until they have raised grants etc for ongoing funding.

April 11thWe had an out night to the Alpine Centre for dinner and meeting as the Te Anau Club is otherwise busy.
This was a special night as we inducted two new members, Lynley Jones and Cheryl Ralley. We welcome these ladies to our Rotary Club of Fiordland and hope that they quickly feel at home with us and enjoy participating with us in ‘work and play’
