Featuring 60 Glowing Sky outfits, the models showcased both merino garments and the new summer range of skirts, pants and dresses for women, children and men.  General Manager, Megan Greaney said is was a "great event for a great cause" and congratulated the amateur models for stepping out of their comfort zone to help support the cause.

The evening also included a Wearable Art Competition with 18 entries from around the district.  Winners Debbie Smith from Waimumu and Jocelyn Miller from Glencoe said they thought all the outfits were amazing and that winning was an added bonus.  Second prize went to the Fresh Choice team with their amazing creation from shopping bags.  Designed by Monica Cullen and created by Laurel Caddick, Dot McKay, Ali McFarlane and Sheree Campbell, model Johanna proudly showed off their combined talents on the night. Third prize winner was Claire Malley-Shaw for her Phoenix garment. She promptly donated her $100 prize winnings back to Lesley Elliott from the Sophie Elliott Foundation who attended as one of the competition judges.

The Mayoral Wearable segment pitched Gary Tong against Tracy Hicks in garments which had been designed specifically to showcase their districts.  $695 alone was raised in a vote which saw Gary emerge as the winner.  But the winners on the night were the Sophie Elliott Foundation and Women's Refuge with over $5000 raised in total each organisation will benefit in being able to continue the incredible work they do.

And as for another show.... well with the positive feedback received, it's entirely possible.
