Christmas Party 15th Dec
Just a reminder, presents can be for children 10+ years. Please state age group and boy or girl.
If you can bring along some non-perishable items that will greatly appreciated also.
Treasurers Update
A quick Treasurers update from our 8 December Directors meeting.

Tankard Donation - following on from my suggestion to invoice members for the Tankard Rotary Foundation Donations, and having voting papers at the last few meetings, not everyone has voted but time is up and the majority of those who voted have supported the idea of invoicing $50 twice a year when Subscription Invoices are sent out.

Thanks for your input and I do appreciate this means less work for Your Busy Treasurer!

Next Rotary Invoices to be sent out in February 2023 - So your next round of invoicing for Subscriptions, Meals and now Rotary Foundation Donations will be early February.  Subs will be for period Jan-June 2023, Meals 1 Nov - 15 Dec 2022 and Foundation Donation $50 Jan-June 2023.

AGM for our Charitable Trust and Incorporated Society - following our Directors Meeting on Thurs 8 Dec, 2 short AGM meetings were held (for the Charitable Trust and the Incorporated Society (The Club) with the President, Past President, Treasurer and Secretary - all of whom make up the official Officers of both entities - to record the acceptance of our Annual Accounts to June 2022 and confirm the details of how we operate, how we raise money, and general overriding statements required for our official accounts.  Once I have typed up the brief Minutes, I will then be in a position to lodge our Annual Account Information with the Companies Office etc.

Trade Grant Recipient - The first payment from our Trust of $625 will be made to Bailey Taylor next week, who is this year's Trade Grant Recipient.  The total funding is $2500, spread over 4 payments throughout the year.

Santas Helpers  - Following a funding application, we have again supported the Santas Helpers team with a $250 donation to help them out for the Parade tomorrow.

Thanks it from me for this month.

Cheers
Jane
