CHANGEOVER DATE CONFIRMED - 13 JUNE 2019
I have confirmed with Tania Lowry, DGE that she is available for 13 June so lets all put it in our diaries that this is change over date.
The theme for the coming year is:

This aligns very well with Rotary's Vision - "Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves"
A ROTARY CENTENARY PROJECT
Give Every Child a Future
Information on this was distributed last year about this major international project regarding a vaccination programme to the South Pacific Islands to prevent cervical cancer and save children's lives through the introduction of three vaccines (HPV, rotavirus and pneumococcal disease). The project was initiated by Rotarians in Australia and New Zealand and is being executed in partnership with UNICEF with whom Rotary has a deep and lasting relationship having worked together on End Polio Now and other projects around the world.
Details of the programme are currently being finalised by UNICEF with each Government. At this stage we are hoping that the first vaccinations under this programme will take place towards the end of 2019.
More information is available on www.everychildafuture.com as well as a special message from Ian and Juliet Riseley, current President Rotary International https://youtu.be/ehigRWFZ-j4
This is something we will become more involved with in the coming year so watch out for more updates over the coming months.
