If you ever wondered if the money our Rotary club donates or supports is worth while, then think again. On the 14th March we had our answer when Harry McCallum came to the club and spoke to us about sending him to RYLA in Queenstown.
Harry's talk was absolutely brilliant. He started off discussing the various guest speakers thoughout RYLA. Then discussed some of the activities including the very funny topics of what colour and shapes people are, Harry it's ok to be 'Red'. Harry was brilliant and while thanking the speaker Merv said the it was awesome to see how young people in our community get out of RYLA and Sciene Forum etc. The confidence and knowledge they gain makes us proud to be a Rotarian!
